Abstract

Gwóźdź takes us on a nostalgic journey, shows us forgotten and deserted cinemas from different parts of the world. He tries to capture with the photographic picture the essence of the cinema as a building, as a place, as a magical space rooted in the space of the city.

Ze studiów nad niemiecką myślą filmową do roku 1933 (1990), Kultura - komunikacja - film. O tekście filmowym (1992), Obrazy i rzeczy. Film między mediami (1997), Technologie widzenia, czyli media w poszukiwaniu autora: Wim We­nders (2004); współautor Historii semiotyki fil­mu, t. 2 (1993). Redaktor pierwszej antologii polskiej teorii filmu wydanej w świecie - Filmtheorie in Polen. Eine Anthologie (1992).
