Abstract
Lubelski reviews the book Film Biographies (Biografistyka filmowa) edited by Tadeusz Szczepański and Sylwia Kołos. The volume consists of a collection of essays based on conference papers focusing on contemporary biographical cinema. This book was put together to honour the memory of Bolesław Michałek, one of the greatest Polish film critics, who died in 1997.
