Abstract

In the Mood for Love is a work different than former films by Wong Kar-Wai. He tells the love story, emotionally involving the viewer. The film is also a challenge for viewer’s perception. In the proposed interpretation the movie could be a recalled story where facts mix with imaginings and the person and unity of the narrator are not explicit. The allusions to Last year in Marienbad and Hiroshima, mon amour can be found in the movie.
