Reality Is More Interesting: Łukasz Maciejewski Talks With Stanisław Lem
Abstract
Łukasz Maciejewski talks with Stanisław Lem about the film adaptations of his prose works, about “optisemism”, i.e. the reality with regard to which neither optimism nor pessimism are justified terms while the notions of sacrum and profanum intermingle; about sects, the Internet, information jabber, human genome research, modern art, Harry Potter, cinema, television, science fiction and the decline of high culture.
