Abstract

Taborska writes that the end of the millennium is a relative matter. But the eclipse of the Sun, due in August 1999, is less relative and more mind-boggling. Will the catastrophic visions of the end of the world come true? Taborska adds that it was rather a new spectacle of mass culture imagination.
