Abstract
Małgorzata Hendrykowska reviews an exceptional book on Poland’s market. Jewish Film in Poland by Natan Gross (the 2nd item of the series We, the Polish Jews) is a monograph of the Jewish cinema on Polish soil since the early 20th century to the 1950s. The monograph includes feature and documentary films made by Jewish directors and producers for the Jews. The item perfectly fits in the wave of interest in the culture of the Jews, and reveals themes that have long been fogged.
