The Last Romantic
Abstract
Duniec reviews two publications on Andrzej Wajda’s works - The Theatre World of Andrzej Wajda (edited by Anna Kuligowska-Korzeniewska and Krzysztof Pacek) and The Film World of Andrzej Wajda (edited by Ewelina Nurczynska-Fidelska and Piotr Sitarski), a collection of papers delivered at a scientific conference on the film and theatre director. The papers are written from different points of view. Wajda’s cinema of great narration, is discussed in psychoanalytical, anthropological, sociological and philosophical categories.
