Abstract

Duniec reviews two publications on Andrzej Wajda’s works - The Theatre World of Andrzej Wajda (edited by Anna Kuligowska-Korzeniewska and Krzysztof Pacek) and The Film World of Andrzej Wajda (edited by Ewelina Nurczynska-Fidelska and Piotr Sitarski), a collection of papers delivered at a scientific conference on the film and theatre director. The papers are written from different points of view. Wajda’s cinema of great narration, is discussed in psychoanalytical, anthro­pological, sociological and philosophical categories.
