Abstract
Ozimek examines a little known episode from the life of Antoni Bohdziewicz, the filmmaker, teacher and one of major figures in the history of Polish cinema: his filmmaking during the Nazi occupation and the Warsaw Uprising. Bohdziewicz was sworn in to the Home Army, assumed the alias “Wiktor” and joined the Mobilisation Propaganda Sub-department, codenamed Rój (Swarm), of the Information and Propaganda Bureau of the High Command of the Home Army. Ozimek uses a colourful language to describe the realities of the time and Bohdziewicz's experiences, presenting them in a broad spectrum of historical events.
