Abstract

The author discusses the three most important Czechoslovak interactive audiovisual works: the film Kinoautomat (1967) by Radúz Činčera, TV series Rozpaky kuchare Svatopluka (1985) directed by Frantisek Filip and Hnchy pro pätera Knoxe (1992) directed by Dusan Klein. Marecki points to the pioneering on the world scale character of the audiovisual projects and places them in the context of theatre experiments and inventions specific for Czechoslovakia (Theatregraph and Laterna Magica).
