Abstract

In Wróbel’s opinion, the world of Kornblumenblau (its action takes place in a concentration camp during World War II) is the metaphor of universal reality, and a peculiar morality play. According to Wróbel, Wosiewicz’s film creates metaphorical meanings of the historical truth, shown faithfully, accurately and openly. Wróbel says the use of comedy in this „parable” should not be shocking. She adds that the film does not concern a „historical event” but is the story of captive Man (and Artist) exposed to privileges and restrictions of totalitarian rule.
