"The Philosophy of Horror": A Serious Lecture on a Seemingly Frivolous Subject
Abstract
Poles can finally take the opportunity to read the book that gained the status of a cult book all over the world. Moreover, The Philosophy of Horror by Noël Carroll is regarded as one of the most original books on this popular film genre. Carroll is a philosopher, has interests in philosophy of film and aesthetic theory and is a leading representative of modern American film thought that has had a major influence on Polish film theory specialists.
