Abstract
Pedro Almodóvar’s Bad Education was a long awaited film, and already was shrouded in the aura of scandal before première. But it turned out that reality was different, more interesting and more complex. The authors of the article stress that Bad Education is an intimate statement of the film director, where on the one hand, Almodóvar demonstrates artistry in the labyrinth of meanings, quotes and repetitions, and, on the other hand, this attempt to define himself lacks authenticity and originality.
