The Feast of Movie-Goers
Abstract
The text is a review of the anthology European Cinema Manifestoes, edited by Andrzej Gwóźdź. The publication features both famous manifestoes of various currents in cinematography and most famous „confessions of faith in the cinema” that determined the aesthetics, poetics and ideological values of individual authors and film schools.
