Abstract

This review is devoted to the three volumes of Henryk Opieński’s correspondence with Anna Krzymuska from the years 1894–95 published by the Fondation ‘Archivum Helveto-Polonicum’ in Fribourg. Indicated in the text are the main areas of these letters’ value as research material, concerning both Henryk Opieński’s personal fortunes in life and also the social reality of which they formed part. Also discussed are the editorial principles behind the volumes and their practical application.
