Abstract
This review of PWM Edition’s publication of Roger Scruton’s The Aesthetics of Music (Biblioteka Res Facta Nova series, 2024, transl. by Zbigniew Skowron) focuses not on Scruton’s concepts but on problems of Polish translation. The meanings of the English original have been misinterpreted in some passages, and there are evident stylistic imperfections.
