Author of books: Siedem bytów teatralnych (1994), Reguła Nibelunga (2004), Teatralne doświadczenie Wilhelma Meistra(2014), Przeżyć na scenie (2015), Zjadanie psów (2019). Translator of books by Richard Schechner and Jon McKenzie, among others. Together with Edyta Kubikowska, editor of Zbigniew Raszewski's Raptularz (2004), together with Magdalena Raszewska, editor of the seven-volume Historia Teatru Narodowego (2015). Member of the Committee on Art Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences (2015-2019) and editorial boards of the journals Performer and Stanislavski Studies, contrubuting editor of New Theatre Quarterly.
