Zofia Ziemann - translator, editor, translation researcher. Assistant Professor at the Department of International Polish Studies at the Faculty of Polish Studies of Jagiellonian University, she cooperates with the Translation Studies Research Center of the Jagiellonian University. Her main area of research interest is the history of literary translation, particularly in the fields of translation from Polish into English, reception and criticism of translation, and translation series. She is co-editor, with Magda Heydel, of Retracing the History of Literary Translation in Poland: People, Politics, Poetics (Routledge 2022). Member of the editorial board of Przekładaniec (in 2014-22 editorial secretary), Pamiętnik Teatralny and Schulz/Forum. Scholarship recipient of the Kosciuszko Foundation.
